Peter has over 25 years experience acting for clients in serious and complex criminal trials and quasi-criminal proceedings. He has practiced extensively in both criminal and civil jurisdictions in matters involving a broad range of criminal offending and related conduct.

In addition to appearance work and the preparation of cases for trial, Peter provides advice to both individuals and corporations on legal and strategic issues touching upon his areas of practice including the representation of clients during the initial stages of arrest and investigation. He has represented members of Victoria Police in a wide variety of criminal and disciplinary matters on behalf of the Police Association Victoria.

Peter also acts for clients the subject of professional disciplinary proceedings and has represented parties in Royal Commissions into the Australian Wheat Board, the Metropolitan Ambulance Service, the 2009 Victorian Bushfires and Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.


Peter is a Member of the Law Institute of Victoria Criminal Law and Litigation Sections.
